INDOCERT is a TRUSTEA SUSTAINABLE TEA FOUNDATION accredited CB listed under registration number TS-A/I/2013-14/01 offering trustea Certification as per trustea Code. Trustea Code is designed to evaluate the social, economic, agronomic and environmental performance of Indian tea estates, smallholders and Bought Leaf Factories. It is envisioned that the compliance with the code will improve competitiveness amongst the tea farms and facilitate them in achieving compliance with national regulations and international sustainability standards. The trustea code covers the aspects of soil and water conservation, product traceability, food safety, worker rights, Biodiversity and environment management, etc. HUL has set the target to source 100% of its Global Tea supplies from sustainable sources by the year 2020.
