HORTICERT
INDOCERT is approved as a Certification Body under the HORTICERT certification system. HORTICERT is an internationally recognized certification system dedicated to ensuring ecological, social, and economic sustainability throughout the entire supply chain of peat substitutes used in potting soils and substrates.
Under HORTICERT, a wide range of peat substitutes such as coir pith, coconut-based products, green compost, wood fibers, and other sustainable alternatives can be certified.
What We Offer
HORTICERT certification covers the entire value chain of peat substitutes from raw material to the final substrate. This includes agricultural and forestry businesses, first gathering points, processing plants, intermediaries and growing media mixing plants.
As an approved CB, INDOCERT will conduct HORTICERT audits and certification, supporting stakeholders across the value chain to adopt sustainable and traceable peat substitutes.
