The Impartiality Committee plays a vital role in maintaining INDOCERT’s impartiality by involving stakeholders significantly impacted by the policies and principles guiding the certification system’s structure and operation.

Job Responsibilities

1. Attending Impartiality Committee meeting at the specified intervals for Ensuring Impartiality
2. Supervision of the policies and principles assuring the impartiality and objectivity in the functioning of the certification programme
3. Counteracting any tendency of INDOCERT to allow commercial or other considerations which can hinder the objectivity of the certification activities
4. Advise INDOCERT on matters affecting confidence in certification including openness and public perception
5. Conducting review of the impartiality of audits done by INDOCERT and its certification & decision making process
6. Supervision of the policies and principles assuring the impartiality and objectivity in the functioning of the certification programme.
